I don't know how to find info for the VRM but having a glance at it, and the relative quality of the board, I'm gonna say no. I highly doubt the motherboard's power supply would manage much more than a Ryzen 7

Edit: nevermind there are very similarly named motherboards of this variety. There's a more beefy looking one that I found as well, which might handle a Ryzen 9. Do you have a link to the one you are referring to?

Also, are you sure there is a compatible BIOS for 5000 series Ryzen?

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

No.

If you can afford a 5950X, then surely you can afford at least a half-decent motherboard.

It does not give enough watt for the the cpu the 5950x uses between 13W and 105W

and the motherboard maxes out at 95W.

So if you gonna use a 5950x i would get another motherboard

Edit: You can use it, but it's not good.

The motherboard does not max out at 95w. The vrms do look rather weak tho and for sure undercooled for a 5950x so I would not recommend the op uses on on this board.

Yes that is what it says but it is capable of delivering higher wattages by the spec of simply having a 4+4pin cpu power. The 95w thing is basically there to say it can't handle higher wattage cpu's due to well being kinda cruddy.

well if it can't handle higher wattage cpu's then there is no reason to use it with a 5950x

I already have a 2000 series so I can update it, but now nevermind, it was interesting because the previous price was setted at 40 euros, but now they have putted an highter price

What I meant was, does Colorful offer a BIOS version that will allow you to run 5000 series processors? I wasn't able to find one on the site.

I wouldn't recommend a 40 euro board for a 750 euro (or more) processor

That board is way to low end for a 5950x, I don't think it supports Zen3 anyhow.

Even a high end B450 only supports Zen3 through a BETA BIOS. IMO no one should use Zen3 on b450/x470, it has tons of weird bugs.

Get a new 500 series board. The most highly recommended one is the Strix B550-f Gaming, anything lower quality is silly with a 5950x.

The product page doesn't list 5000 series CPU support on any of the BIOS revisions available for download, and their CPU compatibility list is... totally blank.

This also appears to be an incredibly cheap, bare-bones board.

Even if you could make a 5950X work in this board it would be highly inadvisable to do so.

Corps aren't your friends. "Bottleneck calculators" are BS. Only suckers buy based on brand. It's your PC, do what makes you happy.  If your build meets your needs, you don't need anyone else to "rate" it for you. And talking about being part of a "master race" is cringe. Watch this space for further truths people need to hear.
