Replacement Battery Health At 86%?!?

Zonal

Hi, just got my iPhone X back from a battery replacement at Irepair more. The battery health is at 86%. I know other people who have had their phones for years and are way above this. Should I go back to the store? Thanks!

i would definitely contact them about it, maybe a mistake was made and they put in a used battery? what was the percentage before replacement?

edit: older phone, but when i had the battery replaced on my old iphone 7, it was 100% with the new battery. should be for yours if it's new.

I replaced my battery with an iFixit kit for an iPhone8. It instantly showed up as 100% when first booted it up after the fact.

The percentage before replacement was 78%. I didn’t go to zero and then back to 100 though, do I need to do that to calibrate it? Thanks for the help
