Pure base 500 help .

So i am looking to nuy a pure base 500.. the front panel is covered by dust filter from all sides except the bottom... Which has a empty space for sliding fingers to open the front panel..  i am afraid insects might go in thru there..  is that a valid concern?

Insects can get in through so many more easier places than there. If they want in they'll get in nothing you can do about it.

 

Any reason you are getting this case? It has very poor airflow and everything inside it will run extra hot due to that/possibly overheat.

I have nzxt h500 lol.. so anyway my airflow is not good.. as for why this case.. its cz it has soild side panel.. with a glass panel my peripheral vision always has fans running n lights.. it screws my concentration

Go to the hardware store and get some black window film. Then use soapy water on the glass panel and apply said window film. Then cut of the edges with a very sharp blade. Tadaah blacked out pc.

 

That or you just turn of the lights in your pc.

There are some cases with solid side panels and decent airflow. Fara r1, Nova Mesh se etc.

The Fractal Design Meshify cases have both dark tinted and solid side panel configurations, as well.

Dont like... 99% of cases have solid side panels... front panel matters the most. I had like a shitty case woth tiny intakes and loe static presdure fans and i got better thermal reszlts with front panel off than with side panel off. I have never heard a solid side panel being a concern. Ofc that could have ben assisted by the fans there so i wouldnt interpret too much into it but why hasnt any big manufacturer started doing mesh side panels then?

Well m from India.. my choices r very limited.. i only hve two choices . Define 7..  and pure base 500..  define 7 is over my budget   as for meshify.. i dont want fromt mesh  becomes dusty often

Nearly all cases will have some sort of opening at the bottom to help pull the front panel off. You can just tape it off if you're that concerned about it; it wont hinder airflow (the pure base 500's airflow is pretty mediocre as is, the 500DX is far better)
