  1. It probably reset its fan curve. You will need to change it in the bios
  2. @Kadzohow to u recommend to cut it into right sized and formed pieces. Or do u just jam the overhanging parts in rhere and hope it sticks?
  3. One bad pad thats too sticky and there goes a Chip. Well yeah... but how do i get it on on those little tiny rhombic parts
  4. So i have some plasti dip coming and i will want to paint my ram (vengeance rgb pro), now i am scared to take the heat sink off for painting. But the vengeance rgb pro has some really small parts on the heat spreader that would need to be masked off (the milky plastic for the rgb to shine through). Has anyone tips on how to do this?
  5. @For Science!i did not put plasti dip on the fins but i paibted my rad before flushing it so i was worrying if some weak solder points of the fins would get damaged if acid gets on them. The plasti dip was more of a backstory ig
  6. Ye sorry i misread the product oage its alu/steel housing. Ok. Since this my first custom loop i am careful yk. But ty
  7. So i still need to flush my rad tho I painted it with plasti dip. Plasti dip claims to hold up to acids if theyre not petroleum based. So thats not a problem. But will the rad hold up to it? Ik how fragile the fins are and i think EK even makes then out of aluminium. Also i dont wanna rip of some inner coat they may have applied for whatever. Can i use some citric acid in distilled water to flush my rad?
  8. Update: both the quick and full smart diagnosis lock up on 10% Update 2: the sound is gone in Linux, but i cant finish the twst too. It locks itself in on 90% remaining (using smartctl) Update 3 (lmao): its actually progressing further in linux tho i just used the quicl test which should finish in under 5 min
  9. Heyo so i have this sound my harddrive makes. Ik hard drives makibg sounds are normal but in such a constant interval? I am currently running a smart diagnosis with the WD dashboard. It has been making the sounds for a very long time and i alr ran a smart diagnosis months ago. Should i be worried about those sounds? My phone kinda picked it up wrong btw it doesnt sound as much as a "crash" ig Sprache 001-1.m4a
  10. I knooow. Its so sad how much yoi get tracked nowadays. Linus even talked about this with Luke on the Wan Show because some company made adstvat told you why u see that exact ad anf it was scary what it all knew
  11. I dont think apple products are generally bad but you can always find a more ethical and powerful, maybe cheaper android product, without needing to changwe ur Habits from your current phone.
  12. ok ty for the information. I am gonna spray the sides seperatley and the threads are mostly not gonna be visble becuase of fittings and fans.
  13. For anyone out there that has used plasti dip, is this layer thick enough? 5 thin coats btw. The paint is still wet and if it matters i can provide other pictures in a few min if you want
