Despite being almost 10 years old, the 280X (which is a 7970 from 2012) has enough horsepower to easily sail past the vega11.

Keep in mind though that there are a handful of games that will run on a Vega11 but not a 280X due to the implementation of the DX12 feature set.

PC Specs - AMD Ryzen 7 5800X3D MSI B550M Mortar - 32GB Corsair Vengeance RGB DDR4-3600 @ CL16 - ASRock RX7800XT 660p 1TBGB & Crucial P5 1TB Fractal Define Mini C CM V750v2 - Windows 11 Pro

Is there's a reason why 280X doesn't support full DX12?

Thanks. I was bought this card from used market about 1.5 years ago. Didn't know it didn't fully support DX 12 and it's that old. It would be wiser if did get something like RX 470-570, 1050 Ti or 1060.

But i'm happy with the perfomance, been able to play Far Cry 3,4 and 5 at Ultra settings, BF4 and BF1 at Ultra settings and Metro Exodus Ultra settings at 1280X1024 resolution.
