help.. I need a 4g/5g flip phone

narrdarr

so att is getting rid of support for 3g phones. I need to find a replacement for grandpa. It doesnt need much. no internet or GPS. actually prefer to lock him out of those functions. just need a phone that clean and crisp communications and a loud speaker/ringer.

I was looking at some phones, but wtf way are they so expensive?

Like as in folding phones? You really need to word your titles correctly so people can help you properly.

Samsung A series has been quite a trusty caller phone for my whole family and they have a lot of function without internet. But if you wanna go cheap you should check for any last generation AT&T plan deals.

Look at Supermarkets, look at the post office, look at budget department stores. They exist, but few buy them.

There's definitely a large range of 4G flip phones in Australia, so  the US should be no different. They range from like $80 to $130AU ($60 to $100US)

Is this picture not the same phone that AT&T offers, the Cingular Flip IV? Does this phone not meet the requirements?

I see a handful of other flip phones for sale by AT&T, but for a few hundred dollars. Realistically, this is a segment most people know nothing about to ask for a model recommendations. If you're looking for phones under $100, then chances are they are not readily available, hence people wouldn't know them or a suggestion would not be available in your area.
