Thermal Paste on Mainboard

We just wanted to apply new thermal paste and yeah we kinda failed.

Is it dangerous for the Pc if there is some thermal paste on the mainboard?

How to remove it?

which thermal paste? you'll be fine if its non-conductive, seems like a very small amount as well. nothing to worry about.

youll be fine, but if its truly something you wish to remove a q-tip and some isopropyl alcohol will do you well.

I would leave it

 

There's some small surface mounted components there, so I wouldn't touch it in fear of dislodging one of them
