OC, system freeze after two hours gaming then unfreeze.

Evening,

 

Played around with overclocking my 1660TI to get more out of the box with good results however I think it's unstable. 

 

 

Results Asus ROG STRIX Z490-E GAMING Performance Results - UserBenchmark   Before my card was low as 79 to 81% and so I got nice OC speeds  

 

ANYWAY.......

 

Last night I was streaming and doing Microsoft flight simulator 2020, two hours into the game, doing my third flight. So GPU running the game for two hours. then, my system freeze. screen stuck and I can't do nothing. even the RGB software stopped and my RGB colours are playing up. About 2mins to 3mins later the PC unfreeze itself and running fine again, but the Flight Sim fully crashed and other software running fine. 

 

I check the logs and there was allot of logs, but it seems to be the card that I OC made it freeze. No idea what the temps are at the time.

Can you disable OC and set it back to stock and give it a run? I am running a Asus Stirx 1660ti without any issues and temp are barely hitting 65c no ac.

I was always running on stock until I OC yesterday, running at 1880mhz on stock

settings for gpu or game I don't have flight simulator

I assume is the gpu thermal throttle cause it shutter and regain back

No i keep my card at stock don't wanna shorten lifespan due to gpu storage
