confused about the power consumption...

And I'm running all with a Corsair 750W psu. How's that possible? Is it on max utilization and maybe that's why I get some stuttering intermittently and games crash (but that's with 1 gpu running, RX6800).

if you have both gpus runni9ng then thats the problem. if you only have 1 then the psu is not the problem.

also psu calculators are pretty bad overall.

750W is good enough for most fully loaded rigs, and PSU wattage calculators are universally crap. With your actual specs we could give you a better idea, but that pretty much covers it for now.

yes, both of them are usually running. So I should invest in a higher wattage psu?

Both GPU's are listed to consume around 300 watts. But thats only on full load.

When gaming you most likely only load up 1 and somewhat load up the CPU, thus not using all at max.
Most of those PSU calculators expect you use the max. And they also have it wrong most of times btw.

Because wattage wise you are fine. Id encourage picking up a better Powersupply, but that config there is perfectly fine. (MSI A GF is fairly cheap these days and a pretty nice unit) 

 

Vega draws quite a bit of current, but RX 6800 is fairly tame in that aspect, same with the 3900x.

 

Also dont use Powersupply calculators
