Broke capacitor off of a Zotac GTX 1080Ti Mini

Hey guys, i recently tried to fix my graphics card and broke one of the capacitors (cap leg came off), is there anyway i could fix the cap?, cause i think its no longer in production.

No, you can't fix the cap, but you can replace it with another one. Find one with the same specs, desolder the broken leg, pop the new one in.

I assume that "330" means 330uf, and that "16" means 16v. I think this may be what you're looking for. Make sure there's space on the PCB because the caps in that ebay listing look like they might be physically larger.

I'm no capacitor expert so I might be wrong, but I'm mostly sure that I'm correct.

Remember though, most caps are polarised meaning they have to be fitted into the PCB with the correct alignment. The usual way to tell is that the leg on the positive side is longer than on the negative however in your case the legs on the old one will have been snipped already. Usually alignment is marked on the solder mask but if you do plan to try it yourself, make sure you get it in the correct way.

Thanks for the input everyone, i finally got it working again, but are these normal temps? (under load) (pcb reaching 130°C)
