marketplace issue

so quick right here, i want to buy GPU, now in my country computer store just don't sells enough variant of GPU, my cpuntry is Indonesia, popular marketplace here is Lazada, Shopee (both like aliexpress and alibaba) also there is tokopedia and OLX which are ussually filled with second-hand thing, now can i trust this marketplace ?

Given the fact that most people here are not Indonesians, I doubt there are many -- possibly even none -- who can say whether this or that specific market-place in your country is good or not. You would probably do better asking on some Indonesian site, if there is any.

well i'll try that one, those marketplace are similar to aliexpress, sometimes it is fake/not delivered or second hand

i can confirm that shopee and lazada are filled with scammers nowadays

 

but there are genuine sellers there too, i bought lots of gpu from lazada

basically, trusted seller + proper (absurd) pricing

 

ie, 3080 is $2500 USD now, 3090 is $3750 USD

Marketplace is just platform. All sellers are individuals, and I've yet to see marketplace which actually verifies or checks all sellers and listings. So rather than ask if you can trust marketplace, read up what their terms of service say about buyers protections and stuff like that. The more buyers protection you get (site refunds your purchase in case of fraud/scam), the better the site is.
