Just for the record, I know from experience the GTs (and other fans) do not quite scale linearly with voltage.  3000RPM GT on 6V is not running at 1500RPM.

Well, it was sort of obvious.... And noctua shall always be the king.

I'm quite a fan of quite fans. Quite interesting

of quiet fans. But yes.

The Sennheiser HD 598 Noctua fans seem to have won this round.

It's annoying, I spend hours and hours helping people and informing people about GT's, helping multiple people on the forums get them. Then you go and make a troll post with doubley to crap on my efforts.

 

 

This topic is completely unrelated in comparison, it's a 3000 RPM server fan vs a 1500 rpm nf-f12.

The only way I can see the colour scheme bothering people is if they have a giant plexiglass screen and take every 15 seconds to look at their innards. 

95% of the time my case sits underneath a desk. Boohoo the colour scheme isn't black and white and fits with my case.
