it's fine as long as it doesn't fall.

or you can buy that amazon basics stand, it was a god send for me.

Because in a normal position it would be too low on this particular stand

Yes, the case and vesa holes are well connected.  They are designed to be mounted as landscape, portrait, flipped landscape, or flipped portrait.

It must be true, I read it on the internet...
