7970 ghz ed vs platinium ed?

I know theres 50 more mhz on the plat ed but is there any thing else than just 50mhz on the plat?Is it worth spending 20$ more the extra 50mhz?

You are talking about the matrix card?

that card doesn't care about the factory overclock, but the overclock that you can pull out of it. it has the best overclock features found on allmost any card (something like the msi lightning).
