Trying to overclock your phone battery???

Hello. I have a infinix hot 7 phone. GSMArena Site: https://m.gsmarena.com/infinix_hot_7-9658.php

Specs:

CPU: Mediatek MT6580 (Quad Core 1.3 GHz)

RAM: 2GB

Android version: 8.0.0

Battery: 4000 mAh

The only problem is battery which seems to drain quickly after phone turn off. and has a rarest chance of charger not respond (which result in +1% battery in 1-10 days) or your gets battery drained while battery charging. (which minuses battery per 3 minute). Also I don't have a root. So rooting is impossible even with computer.

Any such software that can overclock the phone battery without root?

You can't overclock a battery. A battery has no frequency, it just simply stores energy.

I have never heard of battery overclocking. Not possible.

That just sounds like a cheap and overall bad battery (and phone, so its expected to have bad components). I would either replace the whole phone or try to find a new battery for it.

No. Do NOT try to mess with Li-On batteries.  It can be dangerous.

The battery draining quickly is quite simply due to the battery being small and/or the Android build being poorly optimised. There's probably nothing you can do about it at all; certainly not without root. Even if there was, it would involve overcharging the battery which is likely to cause it to overheat and possibly catch fire.

Thanks for reading all this by the way!

By the way, my desktop is a docked laptop. Get over it, No seriously, I have an exterrnal monitor, keyboard, mouse, headset, ethernet and cooling fans all connected. Using it feels no different to a desktop, it works for several hours if the power goes out, and disconnecting just a few cables gives me something I can take on the go. There's enough power for all games I play and it even copes with basic (and some not-so-basic) video editing. Give it a go - you might just love it.

Thats one hell of a conundrum there. Adding to what everyone said above, lion battery will slowly drain no matter what you do.

if you phone/battery is old, it's likely the battery life has decreased, so instead of 4000mAh you migh only have 3200mAh. you can use an app such as Accubattery to figure out what the health of your battery is. if your battery health is less than 75%, it's advisable to replace it.

Samsung tried to overclock a battery once. It turned their phone in to a hand grenade. Dont screw with Lithium batteries they can explode.

Generally if you're having battery issue it might mean one or more bad cells in the battery. The battery might need to be replaced.

I just want to sit back and watch the world burn.
