Is this cooler even safe to be installed on CPUs?

As title,

I have not ever seen a such uneven coldplate.

I know that a slight convexity is to increase mounting pressure, but this is just jarring.

Yeah that probably won't do the job, good thing that you caught that lol... you saved yourself a cpu

I actually had installed this cooler on my cpu but replaced it with D15 due to its poor performance.

 

It is a miracle that my cpu still works lol

Is it safe? Well you already had it installed. But as noted in your other thread that cooler is a pos, and is clearly defective

Oh, they did replied, saying that the copper base is normal.

Yeah.. that's not normal. I would try to get it escalated. You have a lot of money tied up in those coolers.

I have 3 Thermalright coolers and none of mine even remotely resemble that thing. Someone is passing the buck
