Samsung 970 Evo Speed slow

Hello, got a question, I may sound like a noobie in this case but...

 

I have installed game on my Nvme and trying to move it to HDD, the maximum speed I am getting is

 

 

Motherboard is z390 asus rog ;

 

nvme SSD is Samsung 970 evo

No surprises here. You are limited by the speed of your HDD, not your nvme.

Correct. You are being bottlenecked by the HDD. You can only go as fast as your slowest part

Imagine merging 17 lanes of traffic (Samsung EVO) down to 1 lane (HDD).  You're going to limited by that 1 lane.

You are dictated by the speed of the slowest end.

Try copying nvme to nvme.

your stopped by the write speed of hard drive

so it still ok but kinda slow.

is pretty good for transferring on hard drives

I personally get about 40MBs

I tried to copy from Nvme To Nvme , and it got maximum to 1gb only, is it good enough for samsung 970 ?

again it is dictated by the slowest end. not all nvme drive are equal.

you can test the speed with crystaldiskmark.
