PC Drawer build Airflow question

Adonis22

Hi, I am currently building a Desk drawer PC, I am wondering what is the best setup for the airflow, I haven't built the front panel yet as I want to work out the fan inlets/outlets first and the current fans arent fixed in place. the back is open, but when the drawer is closed it is about 4 inches from the back wall, not sure if I will close this up or not. whats everyones ideas? cheers in advance for any tips and info.

It looks like you have space on the left and right so maybe place some fans on each side (filtered) as your intake and then have your exhaust at the back that way you won't have any hot air exhausting into your crotch like you would with the exhaust in the front. LTT did something similar with their new desk computer in one of their recent videos maybe take alook at that.

Nice pentagram on the GPU btw.

thanks, would it mater how much space was at the back?

I don't think so. 4 inches is probably fine for the heat not to accumulate in the back.
