Weird hiccups Ubuntu 20.10

Hi Guys, something weird started today, every few seconds i get this 2 second hiccup of the whole system, at first i thought it was just on Youtube watching videos but i opened up a word document and i tested typing and it hiccup too and also through just browsing files, i opened system monitor, no sudden spikes in CPU bars, i mean there seems to have hiccups but by the chart it doesn't seem like these jumps timed as the actual hiccups.
i have been installing things some software yesterday but it didnt start until today.

is there anyway to diagnose whats going on?

Thanks!

What gpu are you using? if nvidia you can use nvidia-smi to see gpu usage and look for spikes.

Are using waylond or X?

Are you out of ram? do you use swap?

That does sound like an issue with swap, especially if you have a slow drive.
