you have to watch the videos as soon as they come out and check them. they close the link after its finished. if you watch the videos late, you wont get a chance.

While the average wage here is around $450 or so.

It would be actually cheaper for me to buy a GPU for scalper prices in USA/Canada, pay for the shipping and for customs taxes, than buy it here.

Also, our store prices are generally like $100-200 higher than scalper ones on our Craigslist analog.

Dude, if you're getting that poor of a performance on that card, then you're either doing something wrong or your card is damaged. I have a 2080 Super and I get much more than 20fps in 2077 on ultra settings with RTX on balanced. I average in the 70's only dipping to 55ish in populated areas. That's literally the only game that runs below 60 that I play and only because it's so poorly optimized.

What was the VAG price for an asus tuf 3070 OC?

Memory Express had them for CAD$899. I realized that’s much more than US$500, so I guess retail is happily taking an extra chunk? Or am i mistaken with the actual price of the tuf 3070 OC?

Amazon is selling them for $804 but GL beating the bots to them.  So less than $100 to actually be able to buy it now isn't horrible IMO.  Still better than some of the Newegg prices.

Yes, $CAD.  The official Amazon listings are at MSRP.  As Amazon lists a single card at a time, the scalpers scoop up the cards with bots then relist them with 2-4x MSRP.

Last video was not for drop. The drop videos are posted simultaneously to Floatplane and Youtube. The latest video on YT was posted 2 days ago to FP.

 

The link will stop working after the drop is over. After the stock is gone, they show page saying that the stock is gone for some time.

I have Gigabyte RTX 2080 Super Gaming OC. I set 1440p with quality ultra, RTX psycho and DLSS balanced, I got 40-50 FPS in people area. And my CPUs aren't overclocked (locked), they run at 3.4GHz turbo mode all cores.

Yeah RTX without DLSS on a 2080 Super is pretty much impossible, expecially at 1440p.

Yeah I was in the same boat, thing is I sold my 2080 Super after the announcement while it still had value (look at where we are now lmao) but before the shortage, then I was stuck for 7 months without a card

Currently i have a R9 270X 2GB in my loft i think.. Think im just gonna sell my cheaper 2080super for 20 or 30% or something to save more and live on low-graphics for a while.

RTX settings almost maxed out in Cyberpunk first person: 50fps~

 

Third person in cars? Oh hell naw 30 with 15 dips.

 

I guess going for a 750€ PNY 2080 Super tells the real tale of quality here then, because this card seems to be a bit weaker than a friends Zotac 2080 super

edit: This card was buyed when every other 2080super before the 3000-launch began.. Also every other card than this cost between 1000 to 1300 euros.. This just looked like a great deal so i went for it.. All tho i wish it had bigger cooling options, probably gonna have to change paste

Yeah I'd wait for the next generation of CPUs if I were you, your CPU is not that old yet and the next gen should bring a bunch of new features (PCIe 5, DDR5) as well as major architectural changes.
Maybe Intel will make worthwhile CPU by then (at least they have stock)

From everyone ive talked to, 1700 is a brick like the FX-8350 My system has began to freeze lately even while its been less than 7 months since i last formated the pc.

 

I have the possibility to upgrade to the LGA1200 as my cpu-cooler supports it. (360mm)

 

As for PCIE5.. Unless it launches in a year, im going pcie4.

The new Alder Lake CPUs that support those features are supposed to release in late 2021 or early 2022

I'm not much of an Intel fan after their prices over the years, after skipping from the i5 4570 I haven't looked back.

 

Maybe they have gotten better since I jumped ship to amd in 2016 or 2017.

 

Think I'll be on the amd side for now until Am4 gets defunct or amd does an Intel.

Yeah I definitely will get an AMD CPU unless Intel pulls off something really drastic, but for now anyways the pricing on Intel CPUs are better since AMD CPUs pretty much don't exist now haha
Alder Lake seems good especially with the technologies it packs, if it has decent enough performance I might just get one

You can't be 100% sure they won't release something off-schedule, but honestly given you've been waking up constantly all week I'd suggest that the sleep will probably do you more good than the tiny chance of an extra upload and then the tiny chance after that of getting a GPU from it (;
