So i may have fucked myself how bad is an

AMD FX-8370 4 GHz 8-Core Processor

 

i was tlaking to a freind and i told him that i was building a pc and he asked ohh cool what cpu did u get i said i got an amd fx 9370 for 50$ he said u fucked urself and now i feel dumb how bad did i fuck myself

that cpu is pretty bad. for 50$ not the worst deal but still pretty bad since even ryzen 3 1200 would beat it's ass while they are the same price on used market.

I Use my knowledge as business owner and self taught technician aswell as an AI to help people. AI might be controversial but it actually works pretty well 90% of the time.

no way am i gonna be able to return it im hoping to record minecraft and ive been told thats not gonna happen with this cpu

Could be worse, you may have gotten something a bit better for your money if you had asked here before buying but now that you have it there's no use in worrying. It's fine for a low budget system. You're lucky it came with a beefy cooler because those things run h o t.

sell the mobo ram and the cpu. should get you 100$. that gets you a sweet start for AMD ryzen which are much better.

 

look for used

ryzen 3 1200/1300x/2200g/3200g 40-65$ max

ryzen 5 1400/1500/1600/2400g 50-75$ max

 

and used motherboard under 50$. otherwise cheapest b450 board around 65$ will do

yeah i know it was a hot cpu i really should have checked with more people before buying it

Yes, if you want the hard truth, you fucked yourself. That CPU is damn weak and shit and very outdated. It's not worth $50.

i doubt it we tryed to message the seller caause he forgot to put the io plate with it and he never got back
