At about 43:00 Linus mentions that the motherboard doesn't have the correct connector for the front usb-c port, I was wondering if there were any similar quality AM4 mini ITX boards with this connector?

I don't even know what the connector is called so I can't sift through spec sheets to check,

There aren't very many motherboard options with this connector.

PCPartPicker very helpfully has a filter for this connector, under "USB 3.2 Gen 2". Here are all the boards with this connector, for AM4 in mini-ITX size: https://pcpartpicker.com/products/motherboard/#xcx=0&s=33&f=8&O=1,2&sort=price&page=1

The manufacturer usually lists it as "USB 3.2 Gen 2" as well.

I am looking to build a similar pc to the portable pc linus built in this videa in the same case:

Any help is greatly apreciated.

One option not listed there is the Crosshair VIII Impact - however, it's slightly taller than a standard ITX board, so not all cases will fit it. The case featured in the video should be fine as far as I can tell.

That's because the Crosshair VIII Impact is mini DTX and to be fair OP did ask for mini ITX ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Oh well, here is the updated link with that board mentioned too, because mini DTX: https://pcpartpicker.com/products/motherboard/#xcx=0&s=33&f=8,16&O=1,2&sort=price
