1440p on a budget GTX 770 vs GTX 780

Don't recommend an AMD card. I want G-Sync. I want to run games on high details. AA won't be maxed. How much AA is needed for 1440p? Anyone have experience? Your suggestions and comments are appreciated. Is the 3gb on the 780 vs 2gb on the 770 worth it?

vRAM isn't everything. Still though, get the 780.

2X AA is needed (if that, sometimes I turn it off and don't notice)

The 780 is the least I would go for 1440P and it is definitely worth it over the 770. Get an EVGA ACX version.

And I have a 780 at 1440P.

780 you need it's ram and power for 60fps at ultra settings, now I had 680 (10% or slower than a 770) at 1440p and if you went down to high and 2xmsaa in BF4 I could decent frames 45-50, ultra 2xmsaa was under 30-40fps. AA is difficult thing, I can't really tell when playing the game. 

 

I should really gather some screens shots of BF4/BIOSHOCK/ARMA and compare 2x vs 4x vs 8x. - but that takes so much time

IMO, AA is still needed at 1440p;I don't use over 2xAA though.

 

I really recommend 780 as the lowest for 1440p.
