Meshify c - how to install bottom front fan ?

It says I can have 3x120mm but I can't figure out how to fit it ?

Remove the drive cage and don't space your fans out. Fractal shows how to remove the cage in their manual.

Any idea why it's there in the first place ( marked with a red X ) ?

Aesthetics, separation of the PSU compartment from the upper chamber, looks better when you use 2x 140 mm fans.

This, I just ordered 2 Noctua 140mm fans. Also, I think there's a design issue. If I were to improve the design of this case I would add enough adjustment room so a 120mm fan could sit flush at the bottom the way the 140mm fan sits in your photo.
