  1. Would you provide a link? When I googled this, I found $600 chairs... I don't know what I'm looking for. A more immersive feeling of sound by using three front speakers. Don't even know it that's possible. What would be the smallest subwoofer that could be used? The space in front of my pc is 4.5in X 20in.
  2. I have the Bose Companion 2. The clarity and depth is phenomenal, but lately I've been playing Doom 2016 and feeling like I need more. The base can be felt a little, but it's like the game is trying to give more, only limited by my speakers. Is there a way to add a subwoofer or something/anything to enhance the experience. This is a data collecting post as I don't know what is possible and what is not. I'm not looking to put speakers all around my room, more so directly in front of me below my monitor or above my head. Ideally, smaller speakers. Again, I'm not sure what's possible here, so fee
  3. Thank you, but now the NVIDIA website is giving me and access denied page... Edit; Never mind, I got to the page... Edit again; Thanks for the feedback all. The simply can't run on a 1080 Ti.
  4. This has all got to do with me trying to play Metro Exodus Enhanced Edition for PC. I keep getting an error message that a device does not support DRX1.1. So I'm running around trying to figure out what isn't updated. My windows version is 21h1. So I need to know what I don't have.
  5. I've been using CCleaner for a long time now, but don't use the drive updater feature. I tried using it just now and need the paid version to use the drive updater. Since I'm not gonna do that, is there a free trusted drive updater that any of you use?
  6. I use an Asus Tuf X570-Plus motherboard and wondering if they are plenty powerful to power the 80 OHM version of the DT 770 Pro. Does anyone know?
  7. Yes, the Razor or Corsair. The Razor usb ports look amazing. For now, I'll have to make do with stickers.
  8. Here's the first attempt with DOT-C2 tape. It works fairly well however rough it looks. Edit; for better photo. And they don't do it justice. The color and reflectiveness is near spot on. There's more reflective tape like this, but couldn't find in any the colors I want.
  9. I see USB replacements for pc cases, but I don't see any with a built in light. Do they exist? here's an example in car adapter form.
  10. I get it, just my fantasies about retailers caring more is too hopeful.
  11. I called Best Buy customer service last week and asked if they ever put 3080's on the shelf or if they are all bought online. She said the stores inventory is linked to the website, so if it's bought online, then it is pulled off the shelf. Which means it never gets to shelf. My question, is there any retailer who puts 3080's on their shelf and keeps the online side separate?
  12. My pc case (Meshify C) is all black and I keep hitting the off button while trying to plug in a usb in the dark. Thinking some higher quality foil stickers found on license plates or the ones that come with GPUs or CPUs would do the trick. Get reflective red/green to pop a little while my lights are off. Anyone know where to get some? And yes, I have tape and regular stickers, but I want something that looks nice.
  13. My answer might not be what you are looking for. It kills me when people get prebuilds only upgradable with that company's parts, or have an odd tower that requires different motherboards etc... Then they buy a new prebuild 3 years later when all they have to do is replace one or two components for half the price. IMHO a good prebuilt pc should be easily upgradable with what pc builders would consider standard parts. Probably not the answer you wanted, but the shortage will end. Whatever you get, you'll hate starting from scratch again as it ultimately cost more.
  14. Well the results are......... Not noticeable right now. Based on playing Need For Speed Heat and Frost Punk, there's maybe 5pfs boost if that. If @jaslion is correct, I won't see a real benefit until I can get a 3080.
