In a Korean 27" Pickle

zaxmazr

Okay so the contenders are the

QNIX QX2710 Evolution II vs. Yamakasi 27"

I guess it really comes down to the panel. The QNIX has a SAMSUNG PLS (as all of you know) while the Yamakasi has a LG AH-IPS panel.

Does anyone have experience with both? Which panel is more crystal clear with better colors? (I see that Yamakasi has a better contrast ratio). This is very important as I'm an Art Director.

I also love how Slim the Yamakasi model is.

Any input?

Thanks!

Been around since the beginning of LTT & the forums, but mostly just lurk!

Correct me if Im wrong, but I only saw that the Yamakasi was IPS, so I'd go for that.

Diamond 5 in League :)

I will throw in this option http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824009626&clickid=1FS1Jf3VJUVeXq0QWwyYPTcBUkTW7Kz5iw9GyE0&iradid=97618&ircid=2106&irpid=79301&nm_mc=AFC-IR&cm_mmc=AFC-IR-_-na-_-na-_-na. I would go for this one.  It says that it's 1080p on the summary but that is wrong. It's 1440p. Also it's says that it's VA on the spec sheet but that is also wrong. It's IPS. Newegg should get their shit together.

You want the Qnix as the Yamakasi Don't OC anymore cause they changed the PCB..Unless you buy a older Catleap with the old PCB still and those are in the $550 range..
