For the sake of completeness, I will contribute to the thread and say you are looking for Monsoon fittings. They caused no ends of trouble for people not knowing it had actual silver plating and reacted with various coolants. Silver really has no place in the modern PC watercooling scene so I would heavily advise against them, but this is what you asked for.

Anyone remember those silver plated fittings that when used with distilled water you didnt need any type of additive? i cant remember who sold them and you could get a whole set of them man i wish i could find them.

I think they mean the g1/4 plug that have silver in them. You just put in an empty spot. Instead of putting the coil in the res.

I think most of those items lost their market value as there are so many additives and premixes available for cheap now. I if you buy tubing from say primochill you get a bottle of utopia that makes a gallon worth of coolant. I have a machine running it now that is probably well over due for a coolant change and it still doesn't have any growth or corrosion issues.
