Choosing a cooler for my CPU.

Stefan Kasev
Hello! I am using a Ryzen 5 5600x which I bought about a week ago. So I am with the stock cooler and I will use it for only playing games. I was wondering if it is necessary to buy an aftermarket cooler? I don't think I will overclock it because it wont give me much gains. So should I buy an aftermarket air cooler or AIO , my case is Fractal Design Focus G and 240mm is best for me. I was  looking for some AIO but I think I don't want to spend that much money on the cooling and go for something budget.

The stock cooler is fine.

if your temps are okey with stock, keep it.

Use MSI afterburner or something similar to see temps, if they get too high then maybe a larger cooler for some more performance.

The thing is for idle about 50 was good but I haven't ran a test or benchmark to see the temps under load but I think they will be good. I cant run it now because i screwed selling my RTX 2060 6gb and now i cant find a 3070 at reasonable price and stock and I am waiting and don't know what to do.

see if you can find a cheap replacement that is worse in performance that might be able to be selled for the same price buyed, until upgrade.

but that is more work and maybe money used, and since it's harder to find if all prices have increased anyways.

I dont mind leaving the build like this but i dont think the prices will go down soon and i dont wanna spend money on other gpus because i got 2k 144hz monitor and was hoping to go with gpu that can run it good and 3070 was my best option . But i suppose for now there is nothing i can so about it.
