Set the ring ratio to auto as i saw that it makes a minimum impact on overclock and also can cause instability issues with ur overclock/ disable C states if it doesn’t work increase the vcore by 0.05 steps

Is prime95 one of the programs you have to run as part of your normal computer usage? (I'm being sarcastic)

If that is the only program that crashes, I would personally stop trying to use it. If you absolutely have to run it for some reason, then you can try lowering clock speed or raise voltage. If other programs are also crashing, do the same.

Best of luck

The later versions of Prime 95 are absolutely brutal, especially small ttfs which is designed to produce maximum heat. Either go with an AVX offset or lower your OC. Or use a different stress test that is not as brutal as Prime 95.

I just noticed that you Vcore is set to 1.30V? I used to have mine at 1.35 V for 5 Ghz.

Which program do you recommend other than prime 95?

if u can spam r20, blender and play ur games without crashing, it's good enough, small fft is 40-50% above any real world load you'll run into

Prime 95 without AVX (version 26.6). My 9900K could pass this at 5.0 Ghz with temps in the 80s/90s.

Intel burn test is another one that will torture your CPU.

ASUS Realbench is another good one, not as brutal as Prime 95 but still gives your CPU a good workout.

But at the end of the day, you have to ask yourself, is the extra 300 Mhz worth it? For me it wasn't so I stick to 4.7 Ghz on all cores with multi core enhancement.
