Upgrading to i5 10400f. Need help choosing a motherboard.

Budget (including currency): ~700-750e

Country: Macedonia

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Warzone, League of legends, CSGO..

Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): I will probably get the MSI MAG241C so I will be playing on 144hz 1080p.

I'm upgrading to i5 10400f. Even tho I will be on 2666MHz I think this is the better option because the ryzen 5 3600 is 250$+ in my country and the 10400f is 180$.

The cheapest z490 motherboard is 150$ so I think I'm going with either the H410M-K(70$) or B460M-A(100$) because they are cheaper and I don't really know if giving 150$ for the cheapest z490 so I can have 3000MHz+ RAM is worth it.

I wanted to buy the Kingston KC600 256gb, it is 40e right now, but I saw that the Samsung 860 EVO 500gb is 60e so I think I will get the Samsung one.

And for GPU, I think I will wait a couple of months till 3050ti releases or 3060. I have Deepcool DE580 PSU but I will change it when I get new GPU.

I already have a case.

sounds like a good plan. get a b460 board that has a heatsink over the vrms. 2666 ram is fine, jsut make sure you run it in dual channel (2x8gb sticks)
