Cyperpunk 2077 HORRIBLE low FPS with low GPU usage

recommended spec is an i7-4790, a 2700X should be more than enough.

Yeah same opinion, in the videos u can see how low the CPU usage is... If the CPU would be the prob it would run on 100%

I have a big problem, I have a RTX 3070 my CPU is a Ryzen 7 2700x. I run the game on a 1440p monitor.

I have always between 55-65Fps doesn't matter wich settings i choose. If i use Ultra or lowest nothing changes... The strange thing is that on Assassin's creed valhalla all works perfect gpu usage is at 97% like it shoud be and cpu around 40%.

In Cyberpunk i have a CPU usage of like 55% and my GPU usage always stands at 40%-50%.

I tried everything DDU installer, new Windows setup nothing helped. It cant be a CPU bottleneck....

Anyone may have a solution?

I just wanna cry cause nothing helps...

I added videos where u can see what I describe... And me crying in german 😂

Video 1 Cyberpunk

Video 2 Assassin's Creed

Did you tried installing newest drivers???

I am as sceptical as you but it could also be a bad game optimisation. Do you think you are getting worse game performance when your GPU is at 40-50% utilisation?

Looks normal. CPU is holding that GPU back.

It can't be the CPU the usage of the CPU is around 50% and in AC like 40%.

If it would be a bottleneck at the CPU it would run on 100% usage...

if XMP is set (or you manually configured the speed) and you're still facing these issues, I'd chalk it up to bad software for the time being.

hopefully a fix comes down the pipe, glad I didn't buy day one personally.

Yeah the XPM is set manually in the BIOS. Hopefully, im think about the Deinstall the Game and Reinstall it prob it works then...

you can verify cache integrity instead of reinstalling the entire game, isn't a big download?

Try and see if a couple of ur cores are at 100% while some cores aren't being used.

Hmm would match with my exprience, now when i think about it. All friends say it works and they dont have this issues, i know they are all using intel cpu's. I hope there is cpming a fix asap.

I use a 2080 ti with the shadow settings on medium and the rest on high. DLSS is on quality and RT on except shadows. Frames are lower in the city but CPU usage is only a little higher. It is a bit of a roller costar With CPU usage as low as 19% and as high as 55%. I is probably higher in other parts but this is as far as I am going for now.

The game is not really playable for me so I will wait for bug fixes. I am also left handed and none of the usual left handed key bindings work. If they are not fixed I will never play it.

Yeah nah it's still the same. I'm running a worse card (3060 Ti) and ryzen 5 3600 yet I also have about 50-60% GPU usage. Sometimes, it even dips down to 40%. Something's wrong with the game itself.

yep yep yep THIS right here is what I'm thinking too. There ARE some reports for Zen3 too. I saw one with the 5900X, so it might be AMD CPUs in general, but it also seems some people haven't got/noticed this issue.

3070/R5 3600 here, and some threads are being bombarded while some are basically idle which, for now, required me to lower the crowds setting to medium.

The game still dips HARD when moving the camera sometimes, especially in 3rd person while driving.
