Is Game Mode is still bad?

My PC specs: CPU: Ryzen 7 3800x GPU: MSI 5700XT MB: MSI B450M 1st Monitor: AOC24g2(FHD@144) 2nd Monitor: AOC(720p@60) OS: Windows 10 Education 1909 (OS Build 18363.1198)
 
So anybody has issue with game mode on ?

Isn't game mode only intended for Threadripper processors and legacy games that can't handle high core count by reducing number of active cores?

That's not 2k, though 2k definition differs. Usually 2k resolution means 2560x1440 pixel display, as it has about 2 times less pixels than 4k.

also multi-die CPU like 3900x and 3950x

but yea, i think... OP means window's game focus thingy?

It's on by default and i never noticed a difference with it being enabled or disabled. I think it's mostly something for slightly better performance on very low-end systems.

If someone did not use reason to reach their conclusion in the first place, you cannot use reason to convince them otherwise.
