Will my cx850m work for my 3080?

My 3080 arrived today (requires only 2 8pin/pci-e 6+2) but I'm still waiting on my new PSU to get here, and isn't expected to show up until next week some time. Would it be safe to use my cx850m (gray version) I currently have while I wait for it to arrive? The way my PSU is worded threw me off a bit as it says 6+2 pci-e AND 4x4 CPU, but from googling it actually means either or so as long as I use the proper cables? I have another pci-e splitter I could plug in to the other port and use only one side of each splitter for each connection to the GPU. Would this work and be safe to do? Pic attached. I apologize in advance for the horrible drawing lol.

apparently it works for either of them. i had the same dilemma with my cx650 and yep i ran a 3080 with a cx650 for like 2 months LUL
