Are there any improvements that could be made for my planned build?

Hello, wondering if there are any improvements that could be made to this build (e.g. buying something that is unnecessarily expensive)

Regarding the GPU and CPU, I am planning to contact retailers who are selling at the RRP, so I wont get ripped off there.

Thanks for any feedback! (also I like to have RGB hence the extra fans)

Just nit picks.

Completely ignoring the blinky light thing (imho I don’t understand paying extra for blinky lights.  People do it though) I’ve seen arguments that there isn’t a lot of reason to pay more to get a fast SSD currently.  The whole fast SSD thing may become really important but if it does something faster than is even sold today will likely be required.

Might want to check to make sure the PSU is in the correct range.  It might be ok, or it might be low.

Not a pro, not even very good.  I’m just old and have time currently.  Assuming I know a lot about computers can be a mistake.

rmx uses much better parts, and is much more recent. It is safer for a build like this, also get 3600 cl16 ram not 18

Bah I read that as cl16.  I concur.  My understanding is on ryzen 3600cl18 is roughly similar to 3400 cl16, or something like that. Going down in ssd speed and up in PSU and arguably memory will hopefully leave you with a similar price.  The memory will work.  It’s a question of pricing.  PSU quality tends to be under rated as a requirement, but it’s the most important machine safety choice.  The PSU connects to more or less everything and it’s the only part that can destroy other parts.
