You don't lose your warranty, and it's guaranteed to overclock to that level.

Simply, why pay more for a TUF 3080 OC when you can buy a TUF 3080 and just OC it to the same spec yourself? What benefit at all is there?

Okay but I can't remember the last time someone posted about or watching someone talk about them overclocking their card and breaking it. It's incredibly safe, no?

Generally yes, but the silicon might not be able to run at that speed.

It's very safe if you're just doing "mundane" overclocks, since the core will limit its power consumption and voltage under the hood. It gets more dangerous when you start running modded BIOSes and external power delivery >.>
