R5 5600x for light to moderate productivity?

Ello. Fairly new here and still currently building my first rig. So I got the 5600x few days ago. Kind of concern with how the 5600x can perform on moderate productivity stuff (a lil' bit of simulation thing and Adobe)...Does anyone can 'clarify' me whether it is great for such work aside from gaming (Altho. I do gaming don't get me wrong lol). I'm currently thinking of selling it out and go for a 5800x instead lmao (on-doubt). 

 

I may have missed out some things but I hope for your responses. Thnx.

I really wouldn't worry, considering it's close to the previous gen 3700x in some application thanks to its outright IPC improvement, and applications like Adobe loving fast cores, the 5600x remains a good choice. 

 

It wasn't long ago I was using a 4C/8T CPU for cad, solidworks, Adobe premier pro, and basic render applications. And I was not complaining at the time. How far we have come haha...

Oh nice. Thank goodness that I made a decent choice considering how semi-tight budget I am lol. 

 

And yea, way back then I only got an i5 4th gen (4C/4T) lappy (which is dead already) for few applications and even I wasn't complaining at all. ^^

Yeah it's a super solid CPU, you will not be disappointed. If you weren't complaining with a 4C/4T you DEFINITELY won't complain now.
