hey folks,

i have been using a CX600 (bought in January 2015) to power my i5 4690k 4,7ghz 1,37V and gtx 1080 ti overclocked and i am trying to find an affordable psu to replace it once it seizes working, since i have been stressing it quite heavily considering my gtx 1080 ti draws probably like 250w and my oc'd i5 about 170W.

what do you think about the enermax maxpro 700W 80+, its one of the best rated budget psus on amazon.de

thanks for the help !

what is the budget, if there is no I'd recommend a ax1600i, how will we give you a recommendation without a budget, and you're in Germany?

Another CX. The CX lineup is currently using a very good platform, and the CX550M would suit you fine. The CX650M would be overkill and cover you in the event of upgrades to comparable modern equivalents like the 5600X and 6800 XT.

I enjoy buying junk and sinking more money than it's worth into it to make it less junk.

80€ max on amazon.de

CX650M and that is 4€ over your budget, but it's the least I can recommend within your price range. But if you are planning on upgrading the system and GPU say to one of the new RTX 3000 Series GPUs or new Radeon 6000 Series in the future I would raise the budget a lot now and get an RMX 750W so you won't have to buy 2 PSUs.

And replace that PSU before it stops working or you will be building a new PC sooner than you want too. The sooner the better really as it's 5 years old now.....
