What CPU do you have, CPUs are only compatible with one type of DDR.

 

But judging off the speed, I think it's DDR4.

You could use cpu-z instead: https://www.cpuid.com/softwares/cpu-z.html

Not necessarily. For example, Skylake was able to use either DDR3 or DDR4 depending on the motherboard.

What CPU do you have? It’s most likely DDR4 but we should just make sure :)
