Yeah. I really rooted to go from AMD to Nvidia cards. Their cards are really good over all but too many people buy them. Makes sense.

Unless your really set on buying from your local retailer (I don't blame you for that) Then this 1650S is 170 https://pcpartpicker.com/product/MdFKHx/gigabyte-geforce-gtx-1650-super-4-gb-windforce-oc-video-card-gv-n165swf2oc-4gd

Ok before I begin, let's get one thing straight. Please don't post saying to go over the budget. My budget is $190 USD for the GPU without tax. If you would like to see my system specs please see my profile.

Right now, I'm debating on 2 different cards in this price range, The 5500XT 8GB vs the 1650 Super. They are both the same price from where I am at $189.00 USD. Which one should I go for? I'm leaning towards the AMD Card right now. Power usage is not an issue.

Please help me make a decision.

I would recommend the 1650S. Has the turing encoder, with all of the NVIDIA features, it's $20 cheaper, and it has similar performance.

Care about video encoding performance (for recording/streaming) = 1650S

Otherwise, get 5500XT for more memory. These two have identical performance anyway

I can see that you say it is cheaper. When I look at my local retailer, the card is going for 189USD

I had watched a few tech videos and the 5500xt does perform on par with the 1650s.
