Most silent 6800XT?

I'm tired of my PC sounding like it's going to take off every time I run a game. So I wanted to know which 6800XT is going to be the most silent. Currently the ROG Strix LC Radeon RX 6800 XT looks good right now or am I wrong and is there a more silent third party card?

The msi gaming x trio or maybe the xtreme for gigabyte will be, as usual the most silent, but wait for release and benchmarks

For AMD cards Power Color Red Devil, Sapphire Nitro+ and MSI Gaming X (Trio X was announced too) are usually the best top one. Asus completely fucked up the 5700XT line up so lets hope they learnt from that. As said above, benchmarks will be there after the 18th, I doubt AIB reviews will be released on day one though.

Dec 5th might be a good shout for AIB cards, AMD are releasing the founders editions (or whatever AMD call them) on Nov 18th - AIB cards are usually 1-2 weeks after that.

Yeah, that's a fair point.

For the 5700XT for example, the first AIB model to be reviewed was the Sapphire Pulse, and that was on August 12th, despite the fact that the GPU initially released (and was reviewed) on July 7th.

Wow, that long, well I know msi's cards are coming earlier, right after the big navi announcement, they revealed the new gaming x trio card, so it might com earlier than usual

ahhh IDK about the 6000 series but the AMD has a raputaion for thier graphics cards sounding a bit like a jet plane taking off, althou there are some very quite ABI models

That was because until now they've been using either a blower-style cooler system, or an incredibly constrained airflow design. (Radeon VII) They are using a really open airflow and triple fan cooler with this one, and are likely to have some good thermals and acoustic performance on the reference design. (though I do still expect marginally better on AIBs)
