Hi,

I just built a PC and was wondering if there was a way for it to stop doing this sound when turning it on or restarting? I just built this pc and haven't changed any bios settings. Ignore the led indicators they clear and none of them stay on thats just where the video stopped. It will do this during bootup and then go back normal quiet sound once in windows.

Yea it's a motherboard thing, just check the UEFI if it's changeable (most are not).

TBH I kinda liked it. It's sound like an engine starting up.

'Cause I like motorcycle and we always revs our engine at startup for no apparent reasons.

It is. (TLDR it's a safety thing)

The BIOS is still loading on initial boot, and one of the things not loaded yet in the first few seconds is the temperature sensor of the CPU. Since the BIOS doesnt know what the CPU temp is, the assumption is it could be 100c+, so it's best to ramp the fans up to 100% when the fans are being controlled by the motherboard until the reading can be taken, then the BIOS says "okay, the CPU is only 27ºC, let's reduce them down per the normal fan curve".
