Not including electricity and assuming you mine Litecoins, that's about 30k USD a year..  :o

You could buy so many R9 290s with that money and have a gigantic array of computers making you enough to buy a new Bugatti every month.. Plus you don't have to pay for heating in the winter.

30-40,000 USD per year is hardly enough to buy a new car every month. Maybe every year.

I'd put that money straight into your retirement account once you've made a decent ROI.

I just picked up a Asus rampage IV black edition today since my old gigabyte board died and decided to put 4 Asus R9 290x's in it for fun. I employ 23 R9 290x's and 7 270's for crypto-mining and decided to set it up for fun.

I'd also like to note I will not be running this in my own rig. 4 way crossfire is impractical and creates a ton of heat

You will need a larger PSU. Recommend at least 1200W if you're not overclocking, give yourself some headroom too. Go with around 1500W if you want to be very safe.

I do not feel obliged to believe that the same God who has endowed us with sense, reason and intellect has intended us to forgo their use, and by some other means to give us knowledge which we can attain by them. - Galileo Galilei

Oh wow, do you have industrial breakers? I mean for the mains. How many amps? 30? More? I assume you need something as that is more than a normal household uses, right?

i mine using hashco.ws. it is a pool that mines the most profitable so generally, i make more then i would mining litecoin alone. and I'll be buying a house then a Nissan GTR and then maybe a Mclaren down the road. the veyron doesn't appeal to me that much ;)

Well, our house has 2 80 amp breakers for some reason and only one of the panels was full. I had an electrician come in and install the switches for 20,000 watts. took them 2 hours and $800 to install it so totally painless.

funny thing is a couple houses in my neighborhood have had grow ups and were busted in the last year or so. i should be expecting a visit from BC hydro or the police regarding my abnormal power consumption pretty soon :P

I won't be doing any benchmarks sorry. If Linus or Slick want to do some benchmarks, i wouldn't mind lending them 4 cards for a day or two :)

Don't want to generalize, but Surrey has a pretty bad record of being an "unsafe" city. Don't get broken into! GL with your mining.
