Do I need to change drivers when switching from 1060 to 1070?

I don't think it makes a difference, it are the same drivers anyway for all 1xxx, 2xxx, etc GPUs, no? 

 

 

And I frankly don't wanna, my driver is perfect (for the game im playing)

1060 to 1070 is a sweet bump in performance! Should run a lot better now :)

Yeah, I figured it would be! 

 

However, I think there's an odd issue... 

 

I went to check the serial number because I wanted to know if this card has the cooling pads for the vrms installed... And the EVGA site says the serial number doesn't exist...  :(
