why?

TFX is 30% larger. FlexATX is pretty much the same size (considering higher watt units are normally longer than standard FlexATX dimensions)

Well my Project Carbon V2 (V2 isn't posted yet) desperately needs a new smaller high efficiency psu which is currently a used 300w Shuttle 80 Plus Gold which is not sufficient enough.

 

And TFX or FlexATX doesn't have to be both, but I'd like to see one.

what are you planning to put in a small case where there is no space for a SFX psu?

Seasonic has 80Plus gold psu in tfx and 1U(aka FelxATX) form factor avaiable up to 500 Watt

So. There are issues with noise out of the SX600-G. Are SilverStone replacing them or considering the noise normal operation?

there have been some reports about coil whine and some reports about noise coming from the fan, or better said about the semi-fanless operation.

Yea coil whine, what can you do unless its excessive. The whine while in standby when the machine is off however. Not cool at all.

I hope it works out for you. Many reported that some of the whining issues get resolved after putting some load on the psu for some hours
