Hey guys im newer to the PC building scene. Could anyone explain to me the difference between a Rtx 2060 super model from Asus and Msi for example...

Why do some have 1-3 Fans and why is there an up to 200usd price diffrence between them if they are all using the same Graphics chipset?

Tnx

Some cards will cool better than others, some will be factory overclocked, some will be able to overclock better than others, some will have rgb, and there's more features that some cards will have and others won't. Not everyone wants RGB, and not everyone will overclock so there are more expensed models for those that want to pay extra for the features, and there are less expensive cards for those that just want a card for as cheap as possible.

So is 2 Fans enough?

So that people that are new to PC building scene and have the money buy the most expensive one that looks cooler and provides them a psychological reassurance (which retailers/manufactures exploit for profit)  that they run the best hardware possible for their budget.

In reality practically speaking all the GPU skus with the same GPU model (e.g RTX 2060 XYZ vs RTX 2060 QWERTY, note that the "super" abbreviation indicates a slightly different GPU) are the same except some particular skus (which are the vast minority of cases) that may turned out to have a defect of some sort but even that gets recognized relatively fast because people start to complain or what not and with a simple google you cant find if the card you are eyeing to purchase has an issue like that but even if you didnt know that and still bought a defective card (from a reputable store though ) then it still has warranty and return policy so if you find out about it soon like in a month or so depending on the store policy you can return it no questions asks and if it dies or the defect starts to become noticable during the warranty period (which depends on the country and the retailer +manufacturer but in all cases it is atleast 1 year and could reach to 4 or more years depending on the aforementioned variables)  then you can replace the card and even exchange it with an other model.

Why wouldn't it? That's not the only deciding factor and generally a medium priced card from a reputable brand will be at least ok.

Yes that is a particular issue with the particular GPU model from particular manufacturers but even that has been fixed now as far as I know and everything I talked about returning the GPU or RMA it using the warranty/exchange it applies.
