I'm a beginner building a PC. I need help and advice

I am Redacted

Budget (including currency): € 1500 - € 2000

Country: Ireland

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: AAA games. R6, GTA V, Fallout 4, Cities: Skylines, Borderlands 3, Assassin's Creed: Valhalla, Battlefield V  Graphics Design(Potentially)

Other details: I don't need peripherals at all. I want to build a mid-high range pc that can support up to 2 monitors at 1080p. I've compiled a wishlist of what I want but I'm willing to adapt. I want to have this system to keep me for a few years as I get through college.

Currently I don't have the funds to buy everything at once but I want to start chipping away at parts, hopefully saving the RTX 3070 for last. I have no idea what kind of cooling I need or what case would be optimal for me to allows for future upgrading.

Please note that I am able to purchase parts from some uk vendors.

I would appreciate any and all help and even some criticism.

water cooling  is a waste of money for a ryzen 3600. Just go with air cooling and buy a tier higher with the saved money if needed.

The mainboard seems also a waste of money. Buy it only if you need the additional features.

750 psu is fine but 650w would do the job equally well

Wait for new AMD CPU's and GPU's, they seem like they should be like a great gaming CPU, the R5 for gaming would be perfect.

Otherwise here are other changes I recommend:

R7 3700x is a stand in for R5 5600 pricing. Just left the 3070 in for now, but as I said I recommend waiting for AMD offerings.

This would be a very powerful PC for your use case and allows room for a good monitor. I recommend no less than 1440p 144Hz, with GSync or FreeSync, if you plan on using the 3070 or equivalent.

Please buy all the parts when you actually plan on creating that build. Buying some components ahead of others will lead to not testing them instantly and may lead of RMA/warranty issues.

I'm listening to all the replies and I seriously appreciate the advice and the help. You guys are seriously the best. I'm hearing AIO is a waste of money on R5 so that's a start. Motherboard also seems to be a waste of money too. I'll tinker the list and make some compromises.

I like it

Might consider a RX6800 as replacement for the rtx 3070 when Nvidia still struggles with availability issues. You gotta buy asap in any case because they will sell like hot cakes :)

No problem! If you are buying now get the 3600, the extra $$$ for the 3600x is pointless. But if you wait (you should) the new R5 5600x will cost more, so closer to the price of the now 3700x.

Yeah  I saw the AMD reveal yesterday. I want to spread out my purchases a little bit while leaving the gfx card for last. Leaves me room to decide what to buy when the times comes

Got it. I already planned to wait till Black Friday/ Cyber Monday sales and see if I can get some parts for cheaper. It may be that the R5 3000 series drops in price. Just a thought

Thank you so much to those who helped and are still willing to work out some kinks(if any). The more advice the better, let's get it perfect!

I wanted to note aswell to those helping me out that I wish to wait until Black Friday/Cyber Monday sales and try get some price drops.

After AMD's reveal it's starting to look like team red will take the lead when it comes to graphical performance so that may be the replacement for the Nvidia GFX card.

5000 series cpus are dropping sooner that I realised so buying a Zen 3 cpu may also replace the wish for a Zen 2 cpu.
