  1. I'm glad you came along. Had I bought a 3800x, It would've arrived buy Monday 14th. After reading the scan post you mentioned it makes more sense to wait for that Monday and buy the cpu (if possible) then
  2. I have a 5600x basically bought on Novatech but they didn't accept Irish registered cards, had to cancel the order
  3. There's one store at the otherside of the country that has a 3800x. Similarly priced to the amazon listing. The Amazon also includes a code for Far Cry 6 when it's out
  4. R I hear you. I'd take your points into consideration. My thanks
  5. Unfortunately not. I'm based in Ireland. Ireland don't have any good and cheap pc part retailers hence the usage of uk pcpartpicker
  6. This was probably posted quite a few times but I hope you can bear with me with a question many new builders may have. Especially now. I have recently begun my pc build journey and I've reached a point where I need to decide what AMD cpu to buy. Every other part I have except the gpu but i'll get into that later. Like a lot of people right now, I want a zen 3 cpu but stock is a huge issue. I don't want to spend every moment of my day looking for a 5600x to be in stock and then to be beaten by bots or other buyers. The performance to cost ratio is what is attracts m
  7. Thank you so much to those who helped and are still willing to work out some kinks(if any). The more advice the better, let's get it perfect! I wanted to note aswell to those helping me out that I wish to wait until Black Friday/Cyber Monday sales and try get some price drops. After AMD's reveal it's starting to look like team red will take the lead when it comes to graphical performance so that may be the replacement for the Nvidia GFX card. 5000 series cpus are dropping sooner that I realised so buying a Zen 3 cpu may also replace the wish for a Zen 2 cpu.
  8. Got it. I already planned to wait till Black Friday/ Cyber Monday sales and see if I can get some parts for cheaper. It may be that the R5 3000 series drops in price. Just a thought
  9. Yeah I saw the AMD reveal yesterday. I want to spread out my purchases a little bit while leaving the gfx card for last. Leaves me room to decide what to buy when the times comes
  10. I appreciate the help. Seriously. I made a new build following some recommendations from you and others. PCPartPicker Part List Type Item Price CPU AMD Ryzen 5 3600X 3.8 GHz 6-Core Processor £209.58 @ Aria PC CPU Cooler ARCTIC Freezer 34 eSports DUO CPU Cooler £37.73 @ Overclockers.co.uk Motherboard Asus TUF GAMING B550-PLUS ATX AM4 Motherboard £137.40 @ Alza
  11. AIO - Waste of money, got it. I posted an updated list with a different mobo
  12. I hear you. I've posted another build, let me know your thoughts
  13. I'm listening to all the replies and I seriously appreciate the advice and the help. You guys are seriously the best. I'm hearing AIO is a waste of money on R5 so that's a start. Motherboard also seems to be a waste of money too. I'll tinker the list and make some compromises.
