PCIe slots. A ton of stuff you can put into these, graphics cards, SATA expansion cards and wireless adapters are the most common.

Probably any. A used GTX 1060 6GB or RX 580 8GB is a great pick, though if this motherboard is inside an sff case you might not have good options for size.

Also make sure you quote people or use @Abhirupam SarmahSo that we can get a notification

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Because it's the SFF model (i.e. half-height expansion cards) and the x16 slot is the bottom of the two, the best you can get is probably a GT 1030 or RX 550.

That looks like a single slot expansion slot, strangely not a low profile though.

Either way, it's extremely limiting. The power supply will probably not sustain a gaming graphics card and CPU

Case too small. Would you be willing to get a new case, cheap motherboard, and decent power supply, and put your parts inside that? Your CPU is good and you could keep the hard drive and ram. Not sure about the CPU cooler though

Because all of the half-height 1650s are double slot cards (to make room for the cooler), and the slot that they fit in (the long one) only has one slot of space in your case.

all things considered, this could be a good option (if I am wrong about the PSU)

https://in.pcpartpicker.com/product/b4KhP6/zotac-geforce-gt-1030-2gb-video-card-zt-p10300a-10l

but the spec sheet says it has a 180 watt power supply in that PC which sketches me out hardcore. This GPU can draw over 50 watts and the CPU is already close to 100 watts which leaves very little room for the other parts of your system. A motherboard usually consumes about 40 watts on the low end so you really shouldn't be turning this PC into a gaming PC.

if you could upgrade the case, mobo, and PSU it would look something like this

PCPartPicker Part List
Type Item Price
CPU Intel Core i7-7700 3.6 GHz Quad-Core Processor Purchased For $0.00
Motherboard ASRock H110M-DGS Micro ATX LGA1151 Motherboard ₹3399.00 @ Amazon India
Case Corsair SPEC-01 ATX Mid Tower Case ₹2899.00 @ Amazon India
Power Supply Gigabyte P-B 450 W 80+ Bronze Certified ATX Power Supply ₹2989.00 @ Amazon India
Prices include shipping, taxes, rebates, and discounts
  Total ₹9287.00
  Generated by PCPartPicker 2020-10-28 21:10 IST+0530

this is as cheap as I could get it on pcpartpicker.com but it would fit a proper graphics card for sure. I recommend a used PC case if you can get one for cheap (even an old Dell computer that somebody threw away could be good, those old OptiPlex models use a standard micro ATX case) and used motherboards would be a lot better because this generation of Intel hardware is no longer produced. Try to find a used H110/H210, B150/B250, or even H170/H270 motherboard.

The only thing I cannot recommend buying used is the power supply. A used unit is too risky.

@Fasauceome i have a very old Acer desktop tower will that work ??

do you know the model? some Acer desktops are standard, some are proprietary.

you could also measure the inside and see if a standard motherboard will fit. the screw mounts are the same for ATX and micro ATX, there are just less screws for micro ATX.

I made an ATX motherboard mount template. Would anyone be interested in this and versions for other motherboards? : pcmods

also, from a glance at the motherboard in your current system, it looks like some of the holes are compatible with ATX mounting as well. perhaps see if your current motherboard fits inside this Acer case?

unfortunately the motherboard in your current system is proprietary, and doesn't have a 24 pin motherboard power cable, so you would still have to replace it to use a good power supply.

@Fasauceome Thanks for your time and help. I guess i wont change my case any way because it will simply add more to my budjet so i will simply buy a GT 1030 or  RX550 and simply fit it to my case.

Can just say how good is RX550 or GT 1030 ??

you won't be able to fit a 550 and the 1030 is good for 1080p lowest or 720p medium gaming.

I cannot stress enough how important it is that you know how many watts you have. with only 180 watts, if you put too much hardware inside your PC, the power supply could break and also destroy some of your other components. You don't want a dead CPU, graphics card, or motherboard.
