How to enable xmp

I have a Dell inspiron pc and i had to upgrade the ram recently and i am not able to change the ram speed it is currently at 2160 mhz and i have corsair vengeance lpx 2x8 at 3000 speed I also have a ryzen 5 1400 and the motherboard is some basic intel one te bios says insydeh20. Sorry if this is confusing or a dumb question I don't know very much

Prebuilt PC BIOS's are pretty limited in what you can and cannot do with them unlike motherboard's on the market that you can build a PC with today. Prebuilt manufacturer's tend to just get a BIOS that can just get the computer up and running.

I know but I've seen people being able to change it that's why i am confused

if there isn't an option in bios for you to enable it, there isn't much else you can do

Tbh it's also likely the board just isn't made for something like that and would probably blow up / burn out when you just put more voltage

Oh most definitely especially with the no name motherboards you usually find in prebuilt PCs from the most common manufacturers out there (Dell, HP, Lenovo etc.).
