Build for maximum fps in games

Tibo132

I am going to build a pc to play games at 1440p 144Hz. I want maximum fps possible and I want optimal components for that.

Budget (including currency): 2000-2200€

Country: Europe

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Games at 1440p 144Hz

Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc):

I am thinking of getting these components:

CPU: AMD Ryzen 5900x 570€

CPU Cooler: ARCTIC Liquid Freezer II 360 100€

GPU: ASUS RTX 3080 TUF OC Edition 850€

Motherboard:  Gigabyte X570 Aorus Elite 215€

RAM: G.Skill 16GB 4000MHz CL17 215€

PSU: Corsair 750W RM750x 2018 Gold 130€

Case: Fractal Design R7 Compact White 100€

Storage: I have Samsung 970 Pro already so no needed.

Any changes to get better performance? Even 1-3 fps increase in games is great for me. I also want a white clean looking case, r7 compact is the best looking case imo so I kinda want that.

RAM is my main concern. I quess I have to wait for new ryzen cpu tests with different RAMs?

I will OC so thats why I want 360 AIO.

I will buy components at black friday to get some discount.

how about you wait until the actual performance is released on the Zen 3 series instead of assuming its going to be king. Then ask your question when you, and us, are better informed to the actual performance we can expect.

For now the gaming king is still the 10900K...

So until there are some proper tests, and also lots of consumers mixxing and matching (as some combo's work better then others).

You cannot expect to get an actual answer of where to get the single digit FPS, before there are tests done.

When i ask for more specs, don't expect me to know the answer!

Optimums a weird wordage for chasing MAXFPS.

Maximums - Asus Z97-K /w i5 4690 Bclk @106.9Mhz * x39 = 4.17Ghz, 8GB of 2600Mhz DDR3,.. Gigabyte GTX970 G1-Gaming @ 1550Mhz
